Belmonte STEAM Academy Library
25 Dow Street, Saugus, MA

In this 1 hour workshop, Coach and Parent Educator Mel Peirce shares what is driving your child's BIG feelings and behaviors, mistakes to avoid when you're parenting your child through them, and simple and easy tools that you can start using immediately to help them.
*We will be running the workshop again at 6:30pm in the evening. Click here for the evening registration page.

"You can read about tools anywhere but this workshop was different.  I was able to apply it to my specific situation, and shift to a place where I can parent better to help my child."  – Alexis

Not sure if your child has BIG feelings or just age-appropriate behaviors and reactions?
Here are some ways to tell if this workshop is perfect for you:

  • If your child is easily frustrated, anxious, and their emotions are all consuming.
  • If you're often on edge because your child's emotions and behavior are unpredictable.
  • If your attempts to help tend to escalate the situation instead of calming it down.
  • If you are at a loss as to how to help and don't know what to do.
  • CLICK HERE to add to your calendar.

Register so you don't miss it!

Learning exactly how to handle BIG feelings will make a positive impact on your entire family. We look forward to seeing you there!

Here are what parents are saying about Mel's BIG Feelings workshop:

"This workshop motivated me to improve my parenting strategies and learning what tools to use to diffuse difficult situations was invaluable.  I wish I had invited all the parents I know to come to it!"

"Mel’s presentation on Big Feelings was so helpful! I not only left there with concrete techniques to try when my child is experiencing big feelings and having a hard time, but I also have a better understanding of why she is experiencing these feelings in the first place!  I have begun to implement some of Mel’s suggestions and am already seeing a positive change in my daughter’s behavior and am feeling much more confident as a parent!"

"Mel's class was really helpful to provide a different perspective on how my child was experiencing the same frustrations affecting us. She provided some concrete actions to help us all cope, but the environment where we got to share our experiences and frustrations with other parents was the most valuable forum to let us know we weren't alone."
